Every season is beautiful in this region. The valley near river Inachos is very beautiful with clear waters suitable for fishing, rafting or just camping by its sides. The river flows calling for those who seek adventure to visit it and do all kinds of extreme sports. Camping near the river is an unforgetable experience. In the village the houses are beautiful with nice gardens full of flowers and plants. If you continue the road up the mountain side, after the village, you can go and have a closer look to the high peaks of majestic Vardousia Mountains.

Marmara is a village on the side of Vardousia (pronounced Vardoussia) mountains in central Greece. It is a destination for everyone seeking a getaway from city life. Marmara is in the municipality of Spercheiada near Lamia in the region of Fthiotida.
Summer is magnifiscent up the mountains. You shall be amazed by the beautiful
landscapes that you will find there. The day is hot and it is ideal to visit the river Inachos and go for a pique nique there. You can also enjoy the beautiful sunset, sitting among the trees in deep forest. The night is cool with a breeze hard to find anywhere but on the mountains, in Greece, during summer.
